The Wii has it's problems, the 360 has it's own.

Let me just say this : Even if you're a core gamer, you can still be screwed by the 360's library, it's just a matter of game preferences. :p

Note : The 2 360 games I want are both from Japan. ;)

Exactly.  Some people have defined a hardcore gamer as someone who only likes RTS and FPS games, which is not the case at all.  I played Halo 3 today, and it's definitely a confirmed NO BUY for me.

As for Halo 3, it really does nothing to expand the user-base outside of its FPS image that the first Xbox had.  Lost Odyssey I think is a much more important for the broad success of the 360.  M$ has been needing to expand its market horizontally (across different genres).  Halo 3 will definitely expand it vertically to all the FPS loving nuts.

Right now I don't know any 360 owner who hates FPS games...  except for me.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
