not really, it makes sense, if youre use to small amounts of alcohol from a younger age, then your less likely to binge when your older, besides, in small amounts infrequently, alcohol is relatively harmless.

certainly its better than people who drink 7 or 8 pints 4 nights a week, so its up to you? do you want people drinking a small amount once a month or people drinking alot every day?

LOL some ppl dont drink at all.... so what you r saying is that adults should push their kids into drinking at 8 and 9 years of age!? WHAT!?
