To be completely fair though,   Fable II and Gears 2 were 'unknown'  but certainly possibly expected.  There isn't many games this year that you could even possibly begin to expect.   I think E3 will bolster Microsoft's selection this year though for sure.   And I don't actually think that 2009 is that bad of a year for Microsoft. (I mean come on, a Halo expansion?  For MS fans that's like (Fill in your Victoria Secret Model of your choice)  coming over wanting to be yours for a night).

So maybe 09' is a little lean for MS overall but that generally happens when you have a monster year soon thereafter.  Guess we'll see though.  Truth be told,  while I think Sony (At this point) has a better 09' lineup.  The PS3 lineup isn't exactly mind blowing 'yet' (Unless GT5 / GoWIII were to come out in 09' or something huge happens).   But again it all depends.  Heavy Rain/Infamous could come out in 09' and be the best games in the world and Sony's lineup is unrivaled.  Or they could come out and flop hard and the 360 could pull a rabbit out of their hat and have some good titles.
