Why the PS3 still hasn't been hacked.

I´ve tried it but as I said it wasn´t stable enough for the public and since then they shifted their focus to Wii games running from a hardrive and SD card.

I am sure there are others out there still trying but I would also imagine they also put more work into the other consoles instead.

Just because it isn´t in your public domain doesn´t mean it doesn´t exist.

Also to state it´s unhackable when it actually has been hacked is incorrect thats why I dropped in with this info, theese are people that are proud of their work and they put in a lot of time in theese things and they will never release something that is unstable especially when it can also brick your PS3 (although this is extremly rare it still happens).

My giess is that now when the rest of Sony´s big hitters are on their way we will see a big focus shift in the hackers community to finish the work and get it out there.

I also want to point out that because they have come this far doesn´t mean they will actually be able to perfet it (I personally think they will) but the mutter still stands it´s been hacked and it was some time ago but not to the level so they feel comfortable to make a public release.

I can also say that the PS 3 has been the hardest console ever to hack (so far) so Sony did a hell of a job to try and make it hack proof and they almost suceeded.

 

 

Until any group releases it to the scene then it's not hacked, that's fact.  This is what the article is saying, they're are too many groups unwilling to help each other for anything to ever be released in the near future.  If you want to believe your friend that's fine but don't go around announcing to the world it's been done when it hasn't.

Believe me or don´t I don´t get any trophies or achievements for this, just thought I would give you as much correct info as possible, it´s been a while since I was at my friends helping him out as I my self have alot of work learning about waninkos program running Wii games from a harddrive or SD card.

I believe my friend because not only have i seen it and have even played it and I can also add that it crashed after about 20-30 mins gameplay and thats the reason you won´t see it untill they perfect it and I can bet my life on that there are other hackers out there that has come further then my friend and his team. They all do this for fun and to learn (but mostly I think it´s for the bragging rights).

But go ahead and believe it´s not hacked att all and continue this thread based on false assumptions, just remember I said so when the hack is finished and delivered, as you know that doesn´t work over a night to get it perfect and safe.

The same thing happenend with the Wii and 360 I was able (through them) to test and play games through both chip and softmod way before it ws available to you, does that mean it didn´t exist and I didn´t get to try it out before you were aware of it?

I did this so you could continue to argue about this with the corret info instead of basing the whole thread that it hasn´t been hacked.

It would be a more interesting discussion if we/you continued this thread based on the actuall progress in the mutter and not on wishful thinking or because you have no acces to the releant info about this.

But if you think I am lying and wish to continue to discuss this topic an a flawed premiss then go ahead and ignor my posts as my only intention was to spread correct info about the topic as I do with other things here on VGC when I start threads, it´s allways about spreding the information out and killing missinformation.

The truth of the mutter is it´s been hacked but not to the level so we can use it properly.

If I insulted you or others then I am sorry but I thought you would value actuall info about the mutter based on reality and not on info that isn´t accurate and hasn´t been for a 1+ year.

This is the last I have to say about this unless you actually have any questions I might be able to answer or get the answers too.
