Could Dante's Inferno steal some of GOW's thunder?

Anyway, I just saw the trailer - I've missed it 'til now - and wow, I'm super impressed!They really seem to aim for that epic, mammoth God ov War feeling with the atmosphere, ambition and style. And I like demons, hell myths and the supernatural, so the setting is perfect for a brutal, exciting action game IMO.

Don't mean to blast anyone, but I seriously don't want this to turn into a GOW killer thread.  People are even talking about DMC...I'm like WTF...do they even know where it originated from...hullo...Divine Comedy...9 level of hell...classic read (albeit extremely boring at times.)  What really "sparked" the idea for me was the 9th circle, which is the Giant’s level, and how similar it looked to the GOW talk about the Giants’ in THAT game almost being level in of themselves.  Dante's Inferno looks to be interesting, and has the potential for a trilogy of games, if successful...the first for Inferno, the next for Purgatory and the last for Paradise...each with 9 level makes for 3 nice games, if executed correctly.
