Genres that the Wii will own?

It may be possible to do something similar with the SIXAXIS?? Although it may feel rather odd(?). But on the 360 (for example), I can't see this happening.

So in short - the Wii will own the *entire* bowling genre for this generation (lawn bowls game anyone??).

Now this is a pretty small and niche genre - so it doesn't matter that much. What other genres could the Wii "own" in a similar fashion, and what genres will it never own (don't suit themselves to the Wiimote - actually play worse)?

 +: Baseball, boxing, swordfighting, light-gun games, golf, tennis, cricket

-: soccer/football(?)

?? (unknown/unproven/either work fine): FPS, adventure, driving 

 

 

I just had an epithamy... the Wiimote is the future of sports games. I was reading Narfer post and realized that everyone playing Wii sports games will never go back the regular button pushing controls. It's the NextGen of sports games, pure and simple. 

Now what's stopping Sony and MS from releasing there own Wiimote? Why wouldn't they adapt? Racing games have the wheel.. Why wouldn't sports games have there "Wiimote"?

It's really a matter of time before Sony and MS jumps on the bandwagon.

I've played Excite Trucks and I can't really say that the controls please me. So not sure about Driving games, most driving enthuiast will probably stick to the racing wheel or the regular remote.
