Japanese games are irrelevant to the other asian countries. There's far more non-japanese games in Asia than japanese games.
China, Russia and South Korea's videogame markets are increasing at a lighting speed, and they are more than capable of developing their own games. Those 3 countries are also extremely PC-centric, while Japan is not, so there is almost no overlap that allows japanese games to be commercially significant in continental Asia.
