Problem 1
The study was done by a left wing think tank. (Or rather most of the studies that were metanalyised.
Problem 2
The research is based on the findings of over 100 different studies around the world, which questioned 80,000 people worldwide.
Issue A) Different studies = Different methods = Different Questions = Different Results = Impossible to reconcile the results.
Issue B ) Doing countries among different culture groups itself is difficult in the same study since a question that reads the same in two countries can give off two different meanings.
C) 80,000 people = About 410 people per country. Seems a bit low. Espiecally for countries like the United States in which there are huge region differences. Obviously it's not 410 per person and some countries have a lot more then others, however without a breakdown it's hard to tell what's what... and even with a breakdown it is almost defininte that some countries don't have enough representation.
I mean it's Metanalaysis. Metanalysis studies need to be taken with a grain of salt.
I mean you did have to take a few statistics and research classes for a minor in psych right?
