From 1900 to 1909, the average life expectancy was 30-40 years of age. Thanks to Capitalism, we have advanced nutrition, medical science, and all the underlying technology, to move that figure to 77 years today.
You would rather it be 45 (assuming it would still grow, just at a slower rate), with everyone having the same lifestyle?
