Forward compatibility? Didn't you just explain backwards compatibility?
Because I'm sure the 360 upscales Xbox 1 games to make them look "better" on the system. Forward compatability would mean the Xbox 4 games would be playable on the Xbox 3.
Also, don't your other comments contradict themselves.
What use is blu-ray if everything will be on the HDD. You could just use 10 DVD's and install it. AND what's the use of Blu-ray on a system that allows game downloads over the internet?
About Blu-ray: I agree with you, depending on how much penetration Blu-ray has before the next big media arrives. I mean, aside from increased storage, Blu-ray doesn't offer much else better than the standard dvd. If the next format reads faster and is bigger than the standard DVD, chances are blu-ray will not even have a reign as the premier media format.
