As long as the PS3 can hold up with the 360 they shouldn't drop the price. Finally RPG's starting to roll on the PS3 and developers realize they can't ignore the PS3 longer as the biggest RPG fanbase is still at PlayStation. In Japan RPG's are going to win a lot of consumers I'm really sure about that. With FFXIII being exclusive in Japan and releasing this year the PS3 will simply win this holiday season. No fangirl talk but very much common sense when looking at recent sale figures. In the West Sony just have to continue to travel their own path and win developers confidence, to get more (exclusive) games to the PS3. Plus Sony just have to make promises worth while to the buyers. Once they do that they'll earn more faith and more sales.

Thinking about the fact we're in the middle of a financial crisis, the PS3 is holding up quite well.

A price drop would do some wonder but it won't be a gods miracle.
