There was a year MS sponsored it and they gave away 360s. It's silly though, as by this point I'm pretty sure everyone there already has any system they actually want. The main goal is to beat the faculty team and show the uppity undergrads who's boss.
And destroying the undergrads is very necessary. If you are ever forced to teach any of their classes (the more of an intro class, the worse it is) you need to take the alpha-nerds down a few pegs intellectually or they will be 10x more annoying.
