So basically, you want to take the current $399 model and add the following
-1 movie remote -> $20
-60 gigs(on top of the 60 gigs) -> $20
-pack in blu-ray movie -> $20-30
-pack in 2 games -> $80'ish off your example ones
-HDMI cable ->$40'ish for a cheap one
-10% off Sony Home Theatre System or HD TV -> $100-200
So basically an end user would be saving maybe $300-400 in pack-ins.
Even if Sony was making a 50% profit on all their products, you just increased their production costs by $150-200 which is basically half the cost of the console already.
My numbers were just estimations obviously, but that seems like the exact opposite of what Sony would want to do as they're trying to cut costs.
The only teeth strong enough to eat other teeth.
