| naznatips said: Yeah pretty much DonWii. I mean there is no denying there are Wii games with crappy controls, but there are games on every system with crappy controls. There are just more on the Wii in it's early life. The odd thing is the way the article says it it's like every Wii game has bad controls... but that's not true. RE4 and MP3 actually improved on the regular control schemes. Godfather Blackhand, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Twilight Princess, Strikers Charged, Super Paper Mario, and others were all more than competent. The Wii games that people actually like all have very good controls, so I don't really see the relevance of his statement. It's like me saying "Some games suck." Thanks for the update Captain Obvious (not you Legend, I meant Perry). |
However, I would say that due to the nature of the Wii's controls that it is easier to notice bad controls versus a more traditional setup. And while I think this is bad in the short run (more crappy games), I think it will weed out some of the shovelware since developing a good control scheme cannot be done without effort at this time aka it's easier to see developers that don't put forth adequate effort.
