I wouldn't say it has NO bad things.

The AI could of used some help... and the "Infinite actions" a character could take made the problem even worse in my opinion.

I limited myself to moving every character once per turn because the game was too easy if i didn't.

Also... I feel like a tank rolling over someone should do damage...

and I think they overcompensated in the weapons triangle.

A giant Anti-tank missle should take out a person... a tank blast straight to a lancers chest should do more damage then a rifle shot... etc.

Agreed, all good points that I'd like to see addressed if they make a sequel.

A lot of those things can be chalked up to the standard Japanese design approach of Gameplay>Realism.  If you could run over people in the tank that would lead to some pretty silly fights, for example.  Though I'd definitely do it :)

Actually, I sometimes roll people over with the tank just to get them to move or cut off their arc of vision.

I did actually like the multiple actions, with dimishing returns.  It seems pretty well balanced.  Basically if you want to take a lot of lancer shots in one turn, you need an engineer there.

There's no way you could have gotten a decent grade against that first really big tank if you limited yourself to one turn per character, am I right?
