Yeah, but the thing is we've been hearing see you next year from some of these titles for years, so they have to be released eventually. Uncharted announced in the Spring of '07 released in the fall of '07, so it isn't even one of those that has ever been delayed.

Square is saying FFXIII will be out in '09 in Japan, and if you release a demo in April, you almost always have the game out by Christmas especially if you've been working on it for three years. GT 5, they'll want to get that out in the holiday '09 season to coincide with the 5th anniversary of 4 and the 10th anniversary of 2.

If Sony is wanting to hold some of these games back for quality reasons and that is what is causing the hold up, eventually you have to release them and just go with the flow of having to patch them a bit later.

Also, Sony has been having a great year this year beating the Wii in Japan for the last two months, so there's every indication that these games will meet their scheduled release dates this year. And, if they don't, the PS3 is doing so well in Japan that games like Ninja Gaiden Sigma II, Tales of Vesperia PS3, and Atelier Rosaria will take up the slack.

Finally, if one says its unheard of for any console to have the kind of lineup that the PS3 is supposed to have this year, then all they need to do is look back at the lineup of releases for the PS1 from 1997 (started a couple of years after the console was released too) to 2000, and the PS2 from 2001 to 2006.
