While the previous goalpost moving exercises landed on more or less the same new criterion, this time, it seems to be split between "It would've sold better on the..." and "The Wii can't sell _the right_ third party games", where _the right_ third party games are inevitably given the circular definition of the ones that didn't sell well, to the exclusion of the big success stories.
Let's face it, though: If the "hardcore" have been railing against the Wii for the past three years (from the unveiling of the Wiimote to today), they're never going to change their minds about it. Yes, they'll lose ground in arguments, but they'll never stop redefining success to arbitrarily exclude the Wii.
