Beginning of the article says a 1999 review observed homosexuality in close to 1500 species, and that it has been well documented for 500 of them.

This includes several birds, several mammals, and apparently even dragonflies and lizards.

Well you learn something new every day :P

I have to work out where I heard that there were only 3.. I'm going to assume it was some stupid teacher in high school..
