to those who dont buy the game because it has no trophies.. could you please explain to me why trophies are so important that you pass on one of the few really great games the ps3 has to offer
yes the game is "only" 30 hours long if you play the storyline it also has a new game + feature with new medals, a new npc and scenario and report in the second playthrought
then there are also the scenarios and the challenge to get every class to level 20
im halfway through my second campaing and most of em are barely lv16 and that only because i did a lot of scenarios and A ranks
there are the medals in game that serve the same purpose as trophies you just cant present them to people on psn who dont care anyway if you had a a rank in every mission and scenario or if it rains in the desert
and besides what other rpgs are there fallout 3,oblivion.. you probably played them on the pc before..and you have no dlc or mods
folklore is still 60€ around here
so that only leaves eternal sonata and disgaea.. and the hope that white knight chronicles will be good.......and have trophies
the idea i get is that people want trophies because it increases replayability.. only without adding anything new to the game but doesent that hurt the overall quality of the game when you stretch it out like that? what is a 50 hours game worth if half if those 50 hours are spent grinding or hunting for trophies that do absolutely nothing ,when you instead can play a 30 hours game that is fun and unique and also adds replayability with scenarios there are about 6-9 of them some take more than a hour to complete and you can play them as oftem as you like for gold and exp or just to try out different tactics
TL. DR the game has no trophies but it has other ways to increase those 30housr of gampplay with scenarios, medals and a new game + function
