Why set the barrier at brain waves? What's your line of reasoning that makes this the line that makes a fetus human instead of the 10th week? And if you believe the line is at 12, do you think abortion from the 12th to 23rd (24th) week, which is the acceptable limit now, is a crime against humanity? Is this considered murder?

I view brainwaves as the begginings of "consiousness" and time of the attachment of a soul.

It's the same with the end of life right?  People who are brain dead are considered "not alive" as humans anymore so it's ok to pull the chord on them.

And yeah... i'd 12th to 23rd week abortions wrong... assuming brainwaves are present.
