Hmmm. I obviously agree with the opening post. It makes perfectly logical sense. I think though the idea that a completely free market is a great motivator and provider of good and services. I guess what I'm saying is that their needs to be oversight. We've all grown up in a mixed market system that has seemed to work quite well. For example, the whole immigration issue is about the economy even though people claim it's about national security. It's really a socialist construction to protect wages. I guess it's a problem with globalization and unified world in a sense. The bargaining power of an individual continually decreases as the labor pool greatly expands. I don't think anyone here is advocating a central planned econonmy but rather a government oversight because any business has a myopic vision because by it's very nature it has to be.
