Not to open Pandora's box again, but some have been saying that advances in SSD will present a challange to brd and other formats. They are faster, and far cheaper on system requirements in design, sicne you need less pwoer and heat dissapation. Anyway, in another year or two, these will be really affordable. The current financial meltdown makes this feasible, since it's selling at low margins to convince frugal shopper of the need to get these things.
