Read that other thread again, kid. You simply fail to read closely I presume.
You contradicted yourself. (Predictably).
Actually I didn't. You just don't understand the common english sentence and completely misunderstood my posts. (Predictably).
Funny. You claim to have no idea if the losses are recouped, but then try to claim that operating costs are "certainly covered by the micro-transactions". Very contradicting of you. How is it you are so certain of this? You have no basis for this. I actually feel the opposite and I feel that Home has made Sony little gain in the overall PSN costs. Why do I believe this? Because Sony hasn't given any sales data on it except for that one brief "revenue" blurp.
Well considering Home made well over a million micro-transactions within a month of it's release?(With most items costing $.99 or more per item and as high as $6.00)....Yeah I think it's safe to say that a couple of million dollars will cover their operating costs.
Perhaps. But we can never know unless Sony releases this data.
And if it wasn't.....Why would Sony continue to expand onto it? To further their negative equity?
In hopes to eventually create something out of this pointless app.
Does Sony release sales data on ANY online items? Games? Movies? Downloads? I don't believe so...So why should Home be any different? Of course you could just assume the absolute most negative , worst case scenario that fits your one sided agenda..
Oh I forgot your agenda was SOOOOO evenly balanced among the consoles. You've never once from what I've seen even shown any proof of owning any of these said systems. Sure you've claimed it once or twice, but never had anything to back it up.
^^This basically answers nothing and adds nothing to what I said.
You didn't say anything, other than Sony tries to deceive people. It was a nothing paragraph, filled with your distaste for Sony. It deserved the absolute nothing response that was given. Make a point next time. Not the standard company line of 'rah rah rah Sony sucks'.
Try harder.
I believe I stated Sony likes to use "revenue" instead of profits, where as MS uses profit figures in announcements. I also explained how giving a "revenue" figure is useless because it can still mean negative profit. Just because you don't understand and miss every point doesn't mean there isn't one.
