Rap is good. Check out Chamillionaire's Ultimate Victory album. He doesn't cuss at all in it, if that hurts your ears. He has a very smooth voice, and many of the songs are relaxed and introspective "the title song of the album - Ultimate Victory"
Also check out Jedi Mind tricks. They don't talk about pimping hoes and shit. They talk about vietnam, loved ones, and how hard it is to go on when things are down.
