Directly from AP English III:
There are three types of irony: dramatic, situational, and verbal. Dramatic irony occurs when a character is unaware of something the audience knows. Situational irony is when there is a difference between what is expected and what actually happens. Verbal is when there is a contradiction between what is said and what is meant.
One would expect that the Halo 3 emblem would have no effect upon how the car races. However, the car ended up blowing an engine in a similar way to the X360s are so infamous for failing.
Also, one would expect that the Halo 3 tag line to have no effect upon the car's performance. However, the car ended up doing the opposite of the tag line and did NOT finish the fight.
