Clearly, the one with the best movies is Batman and his story is interesting too and has one of the best villians in The Joker. I also really like Spider-Man.
As for most powerful, Superman, Hulk and Wolveriene come to mind. Now I don't know everything about them as I've real almost nothing of any of their comics and know of them mostly through movies.
I'll come up with something better eventually...
