no.5- not quite...ps3 is has a strong 3rd party support and some 3rd party exclusive (e.g ff13vs, mgs4, quantum theory etc)

no.2- I agree since some ppl might want to play some of their favourite ps2 games again like me(lucky i got the 60gb B/c).
no.1- yep I agree it is expensive for a console especially in our economy right now.
