I think that "religious" are mainly people who don't believe in a god but don't like the way their life is so try to say there is a god. I know there are people who believe in a god, but I don't think those people need to reassure themselves by making slogans and trying to convert people. I personally am an athiest, however, I have had many friend who claim not to be. I only believed one of them. He never mentioned the word "god."

 

I was right, that paragraph looks equally ridiculous when changed around. Atheists are allowed to not believe in god and try to convince others that god probably doesn't exist, not to reassure themselves that god doesn't exist but because they believe that in some way or another the world would be better if athiesm was more accepted.
