It's just like the Young and the Restless when every single main character always goes out to dinner at the same restaurant. I get that you only have so much to spend on sets. DS9 on a whole really let me down. To me at least, they really didn't nail the whole "space station on the brink of nowhere" feel. Now for a space station that feels alive and bustling. Watch "The Message" episode of Firefly. Now I'd watch a show set in that space station for sure. |
ive seen Firefly, i was very dissapointed with it, after all the hype, i had expected alot more, it had a very bad atmosthere to it, i felt like the episodes tried to hard to stick to a plot that wasnt brilliant in the first place, compared to DS9 it falls down on all accounts imo
DS9 didnt feel like a soap opera to me at all, it felt like a good sci-fi show with a good premise, like any show it has its good and bad episodes, but i liked most of the characthers and many of the plot lines
