What's that? Graphically I mean? Its a fantastic online experience and an enjoyable SP title, but every Halo title, including 3 I'd argue, has lagged behind the top FPS engines IMHO. Graphics have never been the core driver for Halo in my view nor the core focus for Bungie development.

I'd agree - but this topic is about the engine underlying the game. The Halo engine does the job but has never equalled the Unreal, Crytek or other engines technically - IMHO of course!
