The music is indeed a mix of heavy metal and punk but it suits the game perfectly; as I say in my preview, the game feels much more dynamic than a traditional RPG and I really liked it. Moreover, at various spots, classic FFVII music pops up remixed a bit that bring enough nostalgia to the mix; even if the game's music isn't your cup of tea, you won't be dissapointed. Trust me. Count the days this games gets translated.
