I do own COD4, and while I do enjoy the multiplayer quite a bit, I still find myself always going back to Halo 3, which is wierd because I am better at COD4.
A couple of things that annoy me in COD4 are the air strikes and helicopter for 5 and 7 kill streaks. I just don't see how any game that is trying to be balanced competetively can justify helping out the best players. I mean, if someone gets a 7 kill streak do they really need a chopper to fly in and auto-kill 7 more people for them? It just seems like overkill.
I also dislike that you have to earn your perks and weapons in COD4. From a competetive standpoint this is again going to discourage new players since they can only use shittier weapons and perks to try and compete with players that are already much better than them, but also are using better perks/weapons.
