Face the facts, while the Wii systems are selling crazy well and so are the 1st party software releases. 3rd party software is a different story.

Missing facts: 1. Third party games for the Wii have almost universally been late ports or shit. 2. Madden Wii got much worse reviews than Madden 360. 3. Tiger Woods 07 sold a ton of units on the Wii, relatively, but it was also released less than 6 months ago. That would definitely cut into 08's sales. |
This. For some reason I'll never be able to fathom, people expect lazy ports and/or absolute crap to sell as well on the Wii as major graphical and technical upgrades to long-running sports franchises do on the 360 and PS3. Now, if EA would wise up and upgrade the graphics and tech on whatever slapdash PS2 ports with waggle they're putting on the Wii, and the games STILL didn't sell well, then we might have a case for EA rightfully ignoring the system. ------------------------ Those are the main reasons. And weren't Madden for 360 advertised like vs Wii version ? |
Nothing's cheaper than something free.
F1 vs FOTA, when too much power is in couple peoples hands.
