Good points Rpruett.

Id just like to make it known though for the TC's benefit as well, that in terms of shooters and RPGs, I personally think that its harder to say youre a fan of those genres and not play Gears, Halo 3, Left 4 Dead, Fable 2, Mass Effect, Lost Odyssey than saying you havent played Uncharted, Resistance, Killzone 2, Valkyria Chronicles, Disgaea 3. And also have the option to get Fallout 3 DLC.

Just my opinion.

Oh you certainly could make a case for it.  Again it depends on opinion though.  I hate Left 4 Dead on a console.  It's designed for PC, IMHO.   Gears is a great game and while I loved Halo:CE....Halo 3 isn't for me at all.  I see what you're saying though and that's totally valid.

In the same realm,  I guess I could say that the PS3 is actually a little better in terms of sports games then because of MLB:The Show.

But again, games come down to the person.

I dont really think so personally. I love football and ice hockey so thats why Id buy FIFA and NHL but dont even know the rules for baseball or American football so would never buy MLB or Madden. Sports is such a wide genre but if you say its better for baseball games then yes Id agree. Its harder to say youre a fanatic baseball game fan and not play MLB I agree.

In terms of what you said regarding shooters, its a much more focused genre. Your opinion seems to be youd rather play it on the PC which is not really what the TC is deciding on - specific HD console rather than choice of platform. Maybe your answer is - none, get a PC. Personally I am an RPG fanatic so since most JRPGs and Fable dont come out on PC (and I dont have money to upgrade) my answer is 360. For shooters, no Gears 2, nuff said.
