Oh but there is about this one. See, Sony's first party is severely lackluster compared to Nintendo's. So by boasting of a larger first party, they are saying that with a bigger staff, they still can't compete with Nintendo's first party, which apparently is smaller. Thus, in turn, it can be translated that he is saying Sony's first party dev teams aren't nearly as talented as Nintendo's.

 

Keep clinging to your Mario games while Sony's devs continue to push out new IPs......

 

Sony killed off Eights Days and The Getaway to make "casual" games in the vein of Nintendos current successes. If I remember right one of those planned replacementsis going to be a pet simulator ala Nintendogs, but that may have been a rumor.

Either way, you shouldn't be getting cocky. I wouldn't be surprised if their new IPs are surprising, and in ways you'll dislike.
