I'm sick to the teeth, especially with IGN the last 12-18 months they formulate whether they like a game or not...If they do, its 9 out of ten or near enough. If they don't it's an automatic 6-7.
Of course that would make sense...But its a load of wank because they lie and falsely peg down the score like graphics\sound based on their overall rating that they have formulated. They will OVERLOOK shit graphics\sound if they like the game and might say...."low frame rate, but it's forgiveable based on the quality of the title..."...

If you're going to break the score down and give numbers for each area don't effin well lie about it.
IGN are REALLY getting on my nerves with this. Every review they do is the same...We already new what they were going to give ninja blade...
The pathetic thing is, they are sortof moving towards movie critic style review in one sense, which is a good thing. But in all the wrong ways. i.e they the language they use to describe the game is how a critic might use the language to descibe a film. The point is their "aim" is based on creativity (like a film)....
But it's a sodding G-A-M-E!!!!!
They should be reviewing the FUN and how engrossed you will be.
