They seem to have forgotten that *profit* is what matters - not revenue, i.e.:

profit = revenue - costs

Nintendo:
profit = heaps - little = heaps

Sony:
profit = little - heaps = -heaps

...which pretty much sums up their respective annual financial statements.

Has WiiFit sold more units than all the 1st-party Sony PS3 titles put together? What about WiiFit+MK?

Here we go with this profit garbage again. "Sony lost billions", "Sony has no more money", "Sony's games don’t make them profit."

As if we truly believe that we know more about Sony's financing than they do. I seriously doubt that if Sony, or any company were in any bad financial situation they would be dumping $$$$ into 1st part studious and supporting and developing 1^st party games at the rate that Sony is doing for 2009.

 

 

Sony's financial status is public (as with all stock-traded companies).

By visiting google finance or Sony's investors page you can read about Sony's revenue, profits/losses (per division), how much cash and debt they have and much more.
