Don't be so open minded that you shut out other possibilities that don't make sense to you. :)

I am 100% sure that it is sunnier out when it isn't raining. I'm also 100% sure that baking soda reacts violently with vinegar. I'm 100% sure that there are no 37 legged creatures on Earth.

I agree with your post in general (though I think you meant close-minded), and I see the rhetorical point that Richard Dawkins was trying to make (and generally it is true), but it is ultimately just that: rhetorical. Most of the things that we cannot be sure are "100% fact" would be considered 99.999999999% fact, if you could quantify something's truthfulness that precisely.
