Yeah, i thought about the ati side of things, but i don't know enough to really recommend them. Although i have been looking at some of their newer cards, and i'm quite impressed...
My 8800gt was the same with Crysis. I could pump it up to high (xp too) but it would stutter along when there was a lot of action. So a 9800gt should do fine, you would think.
I don't know why everyone wants to run Crysis though. That game was disappointing.
