The punchline is the people who get angry at the site.
I have a lot of respect for Arstechnica and have been a forum member there since 2000 (and a reader well before then). Their reviews usually don't buy into the hype and cut through the BS, so I tend to give them more weight than run-of-the-mill reviewers.
