I think you need to read this again.  Since you are the one responsible for this poorly thought out thread, this is the answer you need to know and remember.

And hardware hacking, is hacking.  Sony did not make the PS3 so that you could change it into a laptop.  They did not design it to be torn apart and rebuilt in a new configuration.  What the OP is referring to is not even "hacking", it is simple cheating which can be done in many ways that doesn't even involve the hardware.  The cheating like I described above simply involves running various programs on a PC that your PS3 or 360 has been routed through.

So yeah, the PS3 has cheating too.  I've seen it in Killzone 2, Resistance 2, and Call of Duty 4 (the only games I played on PS3).
