Yeah, eBay is your best bet. People buy them for parts and repair so you at least get something for them.
If you want to be shady, what do you mean by dying?
Does it still turn on and work?
if it's RRoD, have you tried the towel trick?
If you can get it to run you can still try one of the Gamestop type places. Either way they will send it to the refurbishment center.
