Since Microsoft lost just as much money as Sony going into this generation I cannot fault the results of their efforts.
I admire the fact that they can sell the Xbox 360 Arcade for $200 when the machine itself doesn't shirk any from holding its own as a performance powerhouse.
Their efforts at the beginning of the generation were exemplary and it broke Sony's stranglehold on the hardcore gamers just as the Wii took the rest.
