what does it change if it's on PC it's still MSFT we are talking about

It changes a lot when we're talking about starting new IPs for the console. If I can play half the games on a console through some other means,  is there really any point in owning the said console?    Nintendo has made a habit of this by having strong first party titles that can't be played anywhere else.   Sony has as well.

and then again what is the difference between your XB and your PC ???? same architecture or close and same brand of OS ???? now about MS I'm sorry but I'm pretty sure they did IPs that are more world famous than Sony.... Age of Empire, Close combat, motocross madness, flight simulator, midtown madness, monsterturck madness, mechwarrior, for the old one on top of my mind.... but when it comes to current licences they own right now it's not bad either....

Age of Empire? (PC).   Flight Simulator (PC).    Everything else? really?   Again,  I don't care if I can play it on the PC.  What IPs has Microsoft given you for the 360 that are worth a damn?Bolded below fit into that category.  Which of these came in the most recent generation ? In larger font.

As you can see...Microsofts new IP's have been.... and.... and....?

what PS2 exclusive ??? the one they stole from nintendo themself to put their stamp on it.....

I really don't feel like listing them all.

stop making a difference between 360 and your PC it's exactly the same andthe fact something is on both but not on the other other platform doesn't make it multi plat as it is still MSFT exclusive....

You do realize many games can also be played on a MAC as well right?  I could careless if it's a MSFT exclusive.  As it pertains to consoles,  If I can play it elsewhere what's the point in having to own a specific console?

If you could play Mario, Metroid, Zelda on your 360 would you even really consider getting a Nintendo system?  Most likely you wouldnt'.

it'd be stupid from MSFT to alienate their PC user and cut potential profit... so no microsoft to push those IP either on PC or 360 and you wouldn't be able to play them on PC or 360.... because it's not nintendo or sony that will be pushing stuff for PC either...

It would be stupid for MSFT to alienate their PC users.  (Which they are already in the process of doing by the way).   It still doesn't change the fact that MS has done very little in the creation of new IPs during their time in the industry.  (Halo and Gears notwithstanding).
