I beleive gay marriage should be legal simply because gay marriage doesn't hurt anybody.

All of the "harmless" sins are legal...

and in a truley christian society in fact there would be no laws.

People would simply forgive others for their transgressions leaving it all up to god.

I guess that's believable if you go with the text book skimmed version.

This wasn't the case however.

Middle Age warfare was ALWAYS harmful to the country invaded because defensive warfare even when successful caused massive famine since the troops need to do a good amount of "foraging".  This wasn't fixed until the Potato came over from the "New World."

The Catholic Church... being an independent entity and weak enough to where if it was unfair could be sacked was made the great mediator.

Not because of any greater religious goal.
