That's a pretty stupid reason. Companies don't stop at a certain goal...they keep going further to make even more profits.

No, its not. Why spend dev time, resources and effort on a Wii version when they can take the easy way out, Sell 12+ million (Leaving out the PC version, which would raise that considerably) and be known as the best selling console FPS ever next to COD4?

How is the second bolded part relevant? Maybe you could show us the games that gave Activision that revenue. I doubt WAW was a huge factor.
