Why are people so dense about this? The guy is talking about the targeted user base. The PS2 is drawing a lot more casuals because of it's large library of games, affordable, low-entry point. Solid graphics (But certainly not HD graphics).
He didn't say the PS2 is going to start outselling the Wii. He just mentioned it as more of a competitor for the Wii. Which he is right.
The Wii and PS2 (Currently) are targeting the same key audiences. The hardware in the Wii and PS2 are similar as well.
