1. I don't understand this still. You're comparing the killing of rival treasure hunters/merceneries that are likely of the dominant voting group of whatever country the game takes place in to colonial powers invading countries and killing off locals. Am I missing something because I haven't seen this review you speak of, becase frankly I don't get the connection at all. It seems like Yahtzee is another person like the NAACP bitching about something that is not really there.
2. I acknowledge it has some similarities to Gears of War. Mainly the cover system. However the remainder of the game is more or less lifted from Tomb Raider. Two weapons at a time, tropical setting, the platforming, treasure hunting vs. rival treasure hunters, supernatural elements, room puzzles, vehicle sections, smart ass main character; in fact the only thing that isn't similiar is the shooting and covering mechanic.
