Damn, forgot Flower - great choice there. I'd still show them LBP over SMG, simply based on the different rections of non-gamers to both (I have both) I know that despite how good SMG is they go ga-ga over LBP, particularly when you knock together a crazy car in 1 minute in create mode and let them try out dressing up Sackboy.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
