They are just people after all. They play what they want, rather than what they work to build. Gates, of course, seems to have that streak of fanboy in him from knowing about the iPhone, but since Microsoft doesn't compete in handhelds, i wouldn't put a DS or PSP past him.
We know Miyamoto is very introverted, at least from back when he basically said "Ratchet and Clank who?" when asked if R&C's planet levels had inspired Super Mario Galaxy, though we also remember he had praise for SEGA and some of their works, so it's harder to tell
